432 Hertz (Hz)

Sound and music consist in vibrations. The higher the number of vibrations per second, the higher the tone. The unit for this is the Hertz (Hz). 432 Hz is the natural "tone pitch" of the universe. That tone is intertwined in nature, in mathematics, in planetary orbits, in the entire universe. All classical music by Bach, Brahms and so on, was composed and was originally performed using the 'standard' A (=A4) on 432Hz. Our series of “432 Hz” crystal singing bowls are also tuned in this way. This leads to the following frequencies in the tones we sell*:

C4 = 257 Hz
D4 = 289 Hz
E4 = 324 Hz
F4 = 343 Hz
G4 = 385 Hz
A3 = 216 Hz
B3 = 244 Hz

Not only are tones tuned in the 432 Hz scale more pleasant to the ear, it also ensures a harmonious resonance of your entire 'being' with our planet and the universe. This natural resonance leads to a greater wellbeing of both body and mind.
* A deviation of up to 4 Hz more or less, is considered normal.

Crystal Singing Bowls: A Guide

These crystal singing bowls are crafted with care, focusing on high-quality standards. They are made from pure quartz sand, heated to temperatures of around 4000 degrees, causing the individual particles to fuse together. After this process, the molten quartz is poured into special molds and then tuned to a specific pitch. The size of the bowl also influences the tone: smaller, thin-walled bowls produce higher tones, while larger, thick-walled bowls produce deeper tones.

The impact of singing bowls varies from person to person, as everyone responds differently to tones. Therefore, we recommend using different 'strikers' to discover which sound resonates best. However, the use of bare wooden strikers is highly discouraged, as they can damage these delicate bowls.

While each singing bowl may slightly deviate in pitch, sets of seven bowls typically contain the notes C, D, E, F, G, A, and B, corresponding to the chakras in the human body. The size of the bowl is determined by the manufacturer and may not always align with the pitch.

By playing multiple crystal singing bowls simultaneously, harmonious sounds can emerge, bringing the body into a harmonious vibration, which can have an orderly and healing effect. In therapeutic environments, these tones are often used to promote balance and harmony, both physically and mentally.

It is recommended not to be near a crystal singing bowl being played for more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time, followed by a 15-minute break to restore energy balance.

For optimal results, it is important to prepare yourself and relax before playing a crystal bowl. A simple breathing exercise can help with this, followed by visualizing bright white light around you and the singing bowl, along with an appropriate affirmation.

Playing a crystal singing bowl requires care and attention, with the use of intuition being essential. It is important never to let anyone's head enter a singing bowl while it is being played, and not to strike the singing bowl too hard, especially near someone's head. Additionally, it is advisable to place singing bowls at least 30 cm apart to prevent damage from vibration interactions. When working with people, it is also important to inquire about metal pins or stainless steel joint parts in the body, as playing the singing bowls can cause discomfort or pain.
